Pythouse Kitchen contacted me to update all of the signage around the restaurant and garden and to create signs for their new Garden Shop and home grown products. I have hand lettered slate product signs and menus, hanging signs and chalkboards, and hand painted large A-frame boards and wooden panels. Scroll through the images to see more.
I have worked with Dairy House for many years, providing graphic design services, social media, website and email newsletter upkeep and more recently signwriting and mural work. I have re-designed the company logo twice (the most recent logo shown) and have created beautiful hand lettered pieces on recyclable/reusable brown paper to place around the antiques shop to remind customers about the next event, tell them the thought of the day or even just give them a warm welcome. I contacted Hannah at Herbs & Wild having heard that she was launching a new pop-up café when lockdown here in the UK was starting to lift. Hannah asked for various signs including a wobble board, 2 large a-frame signs, a wooden palette, drinks menu boards, and food labels, among others. I used both chalk marker pen and paint for these signs. Scroll through the images to see more.
I completed a selection of large signs for both interior and exterior use and 3 different locations - The Grosvenor, The Pembroke Arms/Nole Pizza and The Bell & Crown. I completed many large A-frame boards, some hanging wine lists, fixed wine and snack lists, entry and exit A-frames, among others and also painted directional signs directly onto the walls at The Grosvenor. Wilton Shopping Village contacted me to design a large A0 A-Frame chalk board to advertise some of the shops that had been hidden by the recent addition of a marquee for a new café. I kept the font more traditional to fit into the surroundings and added some illustrations to keep it interesting.
The sign had to be updated soon after due to a change in circumstance for one of the shops so I re-wrote the Artisan Foods larger and made the arrow bolder.
